I am Tony Macchiaroli owner of 85 Cook Road since 1-2021. I have been barricaded from getting to my house since 7-2021.

You and a number of officials, of the town of Cornwall, including your town attorney have been involved in this matter.

Both I and my attorney have been requesting to meet with you on multiple occasions and you have not responded.

Here is what I am expecting.

I am expecting for you to call me on 8-11-25.  Tony 860 459 0915 and arrange a meeting with me my attorney Dave DeRosa and whoever you feel you need to consult with to make the following statements.

The Cease and Desist is no longer in effect. The town of Cornwall has no intention of perusing legal actions against Mr. Macchiaroli.

As far as the Town of Cornwall is concerned it has no jurisdiction along Cook road and no permits are needed for maintenance of the road.

85 Cook road is zoned as residential R5 and has been since 1979.

This gives the owner of the property the following rights as stated on the latest town map of 85 Cook Road, “in note 6”.

6) State of Connecticut property owner’s bordering a discontinued or abandoned highway or a highway any portion of which has been discontinued or abandoned shall have a right-of-way for all purposes of which a public highway may be now or hereafter used over  such or discontinued highway to the nearest or most accessible highway.
