Thank you for responding to my email dated August 22,2021

I think you misunderstood my intent. I did not claim that the employee of the Town Of Cornwall filed a false police report.

During an investigation of a crime involving trespassing, the town clerk was interviewed by officer Dungan and the officer came away with the miss understanding that I did not own the property at 85 Cook Road.

This conclusion was directly based on the statement made by the town clerk.

1)     “On 07-18-21 at approximately 0902 hours, I arrived at the Cornwall Town Hall and met with Town Clerk. I requested information of the property card for 85 Cook Rd. The clerk produced the property card and informed me “this is not a legal document.” … It is only a “legal document when there is a seal on the document.”

 

2)     After the fact the Town Assessor modified the field card with the following Statement

                   2021 incorrect transfer

                  Ownership, legality, acreage questioned.

 

You can see how these two actions are detrital to my interest in 85 Cook Rd.

 

I thought it would be in the best interest of your client, if I brought this matter to your attention.

 

My current litigation is one of harassment and filing a false police report, and not right of way issue.

 

I have addressed the wetlands issue with the town and it seems they are not willing to peruse legal action.

 

Your involvement with the issues of 85 Cook Road will directly affect my interest in the property.
